Continuing from the acceptance of quarantine claims using digital certificates Home Surveillance Order (HSO), Release Order (RO) & screenshots from MySejahtera received until 30 June 2022, mySalam is currently processing a high number of claims. This causes an increase in the time required for claims to be reviewed.
mySalam is committed to reviewing and making payments for eligible claims. All claims received as of 30 June 2022 are expected to be reviewed by November 2022. Approved claims will be notified by SMS. If there are additional documents required, this information can be checked by logging into the mySalam portal and pressing the claim number that has been submitted.
The people at mySalam are very grateful for your patience and understanding as a recipient of mySalam on this matter, as we continue to expedite the processing of claims received from fellow Malaysians.
Starting April 2022, taking into account public feedback on the difficulty of obtaining Annex 17 documents in PKD/CAC, a decision has been reached between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health as follows:
mySalam recipients who are subject to quarantine instructions related to the Positive COVID-19 case can make a claim using the HSO & RO digital certificate from the MySejahtera application for cases up to 30 April 2022 which is in line with the transition to the endemic phase and high vaccination rates.
Screenshots from MySejahtera are accepted without the need to obtain confirmation/ endorsement from MOH officers.
The deadline to submit claims, for claims using Home Surveillance Order (HSO) & Release Order (RO) digital certificates is 30 June 2022.
It is announced that the hospitalisation benefit related to COVID-19 Person Under Investigation (PUI) quarantine will be accepted for quarantines up to 31st October 2021 only. Such claims can be submitted under this benefit can still be made until 31st December 2021. Notwithstanding that, the hospitalisation benefit will still continue to be provided for those who are COVID-19 positive and hospitalised.
This measure is taken in line with the expected completion of the COVID-19 vaccination for Malaysia's adult population & the transition to the endemic phase of COVID-19 in Malaysia.
The Government is pleased to announce that the mySalam coverage will be extended to eligible recipients of Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia starting year 2022.
This will also include approved recipients in the Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR) database who remain eligible for the Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia incentive.
